PVT sampling is an integral part of pressure transient test.
The purpose of operation is to obtain data on physical and chemical properties and composition of gas-saturated and degassed oils required for solving issues related to the field development. The obtained data can be used to solve the whole group of process issues related to selection of the best operating conditions of oil equipment, oil field systems of collection, transportation of products, oil and gas treatment facilities. In addition, the data obtained can be used to address nature protection and environmental issues including the compliation of EIA sections in project documents.
Analysis of samples taken is carried out in facilities of research of physical and chemical properties of formation fluids of Kaspiimunaigas Research Institute LLP and Kazakh Research and Design Institute of Oil and Gas JSC.
